Guide
An expense tracker without a bank login
Some people would rather type their spending in than hand an app their bank login. Cuzo is built for that, and makes it quick.
Why track by hand
- You notice what you spend. Typing an expense in takes a few seconds, and it is the moment you actually see it.
- Nothing to link. No bank login to hand over, and nothing breaks when a bank changes its website.
- Every payment counts the same. UPI, card and cash all go in the same way, so cash spending is not invisible.
Keeping it quick
- Sums in the amount. Type 120+80 and Cuzo adds it up.
- Merchants remember their category. Pick one you have used before and the category is filled in.
- Recurring bills add themselves. Rent, subscriptions and EMIs, daily to yearly, appear on the day they are due.
- Import a CSV. Bring in past expenses from a spreadsheet or a statement you downloaded.
What you get for it
Budgets per category, as an amount or a share of your income, monthly or yearly. A Story of the Month on your dashboard that tells you the one thing worth knowing about your month. And on Analyst, reports on where your money went, what is creeping up over the year, and how your savings compare with your plan.
Splitting with other people
Shared costs go in a Crew, and only your share counts in your budget. Read more about budgeting and splitting bills in one app.

Questions
Can I use a budgeting app without linking my bank?
Yes. Cuzo works without a bank login. You log expenses yourself, and recurring bills like rent and subscriptions add themselves on schedule.
Does manual tracking take long?
A few seconds per expense. You can type sums like 120+80 into the amount, and picking a merchant you have used before fills in its category.
Can I import my past expenses?
Yes. Import a CSV file, such as one exported from your bank, and match its columns in a few steps. Missing categories are created for you. You can export everything as CSV too.
Can I track UPI and cash payments?
Yes. Log any payment the way you made it, UPI, card or cash. They all count the same in your budget.
Which currencies does Cuzo support?
Indian rupees and US dollars. If you move, you can switch currency later and convert your history at the rate you choose.
